1. Who we are
The controller of your personal data is Karol Rinc, running a sole proprietorship under the name Karol Rinc IT Services, ul. Świerkowa 2, 84-105 Karwieńskie Błoto Pierwsze, Poland, NIP (tax ID) 5871719642 ("we").
For anything related to your data, write to info@liqquidlabs.com.
This policy covers liqquidlabs.com and the blog at blog.liqquidlabs.com.
2. What data we process, why, and for how long
We only process the data we need for each purpose below. Providing it is voluntary, but without it we can't reply to you, prepare an offer or carry out an order.
- Build inquiry form: first and last name, email, country, phone number (optional), budget, your performance and look preferences, CPU preference and how you found us. We use it to reply and prepare an offer at your request, before a contract (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR). If no order follows, we delete it 12 months after our last contact.
- Emails and phone calls: the data you send us and the content of the conversation, so we can reply (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR, our legitimate interest in answering messages). Kept for 12 months after our last contact, unless it becomes part of an order.
- Orders and services (builds, yearly loop service): the data needed to carry out the contract, ship or collect the PC by courier and handle the warranty (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR), and to issue invoices (Art. 6(1)(c) GDPR). Kept for the contract and warranty period, invoices and accounting records for 5 years from the end of the tax year, as tax law requires, and data needed to establish or defend claims until those claims expire (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).
- Spam protection of the form: your IP address and technical browser data, checked by Cloudflare Turnstile, plus submission limits based on your IP address and email, which are stored for at most 24 hours (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR, our legitimate interest in protecting the site).
- Statistics: with your consent only, Google Analytics records the pages you visit, how you got to the site, your device and browser type and your approximate location, under a random identifier. We use it to see what works on the site and improve it (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR). Statistics are kept for 14 months.
- Blog newsletter: your email address and, if you give it, your name, to send you the newsletter (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR). Kept until you unsubscribe, which you can do with the link in every email.
- Blog account and comments: your email, name and the comments you post, so you can sign in and comment (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR). Kept until you delete your account or ask us to remove it.
- Server logs: when you visit the site, the server records technical data such as your IP address, the time and the page requested. We use it to keep the site secure and fix errors (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR) and keep it only as long as needed for that.
3. Who receives your data
We don't sell your data. We share it only with service providers who process it on our behalf and under our instructions, and with public authorities when the law requires it:
- Hetzner Online GmbH: hosting of the site, the blog and their databases on servers in Nuremberg, Germany.
- Resend: delivery of build inquiry form messages to our inbox.
- Cloudflare, Inc.: Cloudflare Turnstile spam protection of the form.
- Google Ireland Limited: Google Analytics, only if you accept statistics cookies.
- Our email provider and the email delivery service used to send the blog newsletter.
- Courier companies, when we ship or collect a PC.
- Accounting and legal service providers, when needed to meet our legal obligations.
4. Transfers outside the European Economic Area
Google, Cloudflare and Resend may process data in the United States. Transfers take place on the basis of the EU–US Data Privacy Framework, for companies certified under it, or the standard contractual clauses approved by the European Commission.
5. Cookies
Cookies are small files saved by your browser. We use two kinds:
- Essential cookies, which keep the site working and need no consent: _medusa_cache_id (technical cache, 24 hours), _medusa_cart_id (shopping cart), _medusa_jwt (signing in to your account), the blog's sign-in cookies (ghost-members-ssr) and data Cloudflare Turnstile needs to verify that you're not a bot. We also store your cookie choice in your browser for 12 months.
- Statistics cookies, only with your consent: _ga and _ga_V2G6BMNEH5 from Google Analytics, kept for up to 2 years.
6. Your consent and how to withdraw it
You decide on statistics cookies in the banner shown on your first visit. You can change your choice at any time under "Cookie settings" in the footer. Withdrawing consent doesn't affect the lawfulness of processing before it was withdrawn.
You can also block or delete cookies in your browser settings. Blocking essential cookies may stop parts of the site, such as the cart, from working.
7. Your rights
You have the right to access your data, rectify it, have it erased, restrict its processing and receive it in a portable format. You can object to processing based on our legitimate interest. To use any of these rights, write to info@liqquidlabs.com.
You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the supervisory authority, the President of the Personal Data Protection Office (Prezes UODO), ul. Stawki 2, 00-193 Warsaw, Poland, uodo.gov.pl.
We don't make decisions about you by automated means, including profiling.
8. Changes to this policy
We'll update this policy when the way we process data changes, for example when we launch the shop or add new tools. The date at the top shows the latest version.
